Lemon Millefleur Sablepoot / £25 per hen
Also called The Booted Bantam the name is derived from the bird's extravagant feathering on the feet and hock joints, which are called vulture hocks or "sabels" in Dutch. With no large fowl counterpart from which it was miniaturized, the Booted is one of the true bantams
Long kept as pets in addition to being shown, Millefleur Sablepoot are usually friendly and calm. They are good foragers, and are said to do less damage to garden plants because of their heavily feathered feet.

Silkie / £25 per hen
The Silkie (Or Silky) is a breed of chicken named for its atypically fluffy plumage, which is said to feel like silk. The breed has several other unusual qualities, such as dark blue flesh and bones, blue earlobes, and five toes on each foot, whereas most chickens only have four.
Silkie plumage presently is unique among chicken breeds, though there are growing efforts to standardised silkie feathered varieties in other breeds such as Chabo. It has been compared to silk, and to fur. Their feathers lack functioning barbicels, and are thus similar to down on other birds and leave Silkies unable to fly. The overall result is a soft, fluffy appearance

Vorwerk / £25 per hen
The Vorwerk chicken was developed in Germany in 1900 by Oskar Vorwerk, a poultry breeder.
Vorwerk chickens are not timid birds, they are active and alert. They are a medium sized bird and can survive on smaller rations.
The claim to fame for the Vorwerk is that they are the only chicken to share their name with a household appliance, a vacuum cleaner. The Vorwerk chicken is a good bird for the domestic keeper, but they can fly.

Golden Laced Orpington Bantam / £25 per hen
The original Black Orpington was bred by William Cook in 1886 by crossing Minorcas, Langshans and Plymouth Rocks to create a new hybrid bird.
Their large size and soft appearance together with their rich colour and gentle contours make them very attractive, and as such its popularity has grown as a show bird rather than a utility breed. Although rather heavy, they are able to fly small distances but rarely do, so they work well as garden birds

Barnevelder / £25 per hen
The Barnevelder (Or Barnvelder) is a medium heavy breed of chicken named after the Dutch town of Barneveld. It is a cross of 19th century Dutch landrace chickens with Asian breeds imported to Europe in the mid-late 19th century such as the Brahma, Cochin, Croad Langshan and Malay.
They are medium heavy dual-purpose chickens laying a good number of eggs but also yielding a reasonable carcass. They are hardy birds and good foragers. They are good winter layers and have a quiet disposition.
